Blunt Talk – Safe Space for African American Men was founded in 2023 by Life Coach Andre T. Wright as a 420-friendly private space hosted in Providence, Rhode Island. It was built strictly and unapologetically for adult FBA African American men across the New England states.

Blunt Talk gives African American men a space where our experiences, needs, and culture are centered and not diluted under a broad idea of diversity and inclusion. Through honest conversations about brotherhood, family, relationships, healing, leadership, and ownership, men can speak freely, learn from one another, and be themselves.
Blunt Talk meets once a month October- April in Providence, Rhode Island. The date, time, and location are shared across social platforms.
Come as yourself, but come correct. Respect the men in the room, respect the privacy of the conversation, and understand that what is shared inside Blunt Talk stays inside Blunt Talk. Every man should bring confidence, awareness, and respect into the space.
Yes. We smoke. Cannabis is part of the room and part of how we come together. Every man is still expected to know how to carry himself, respect the space, and remain responsible for his own behavior.
Blunt Talk costs $25 per session. Your first session includes admission, a buffet meal from Wright’s Lounge Barbecue, and a digital copy of No Walk-Ins Allowed: The Food-Based Private Membership Association.
After your first meeting, the $25 covers admission and the buffet meal.
Payment due after approval.
Complete the Blunt Talk RSVP form. Submitting the form serves as your RSVP, but it does not guarantee attendance.
Make sure all your information is accurate so the process moves accordingly. Life Coach Wright will confirm approved attendees up to one week before the meeting.
You must RSVP for each session.
Completing the form does not automatically guarantee access. We are not trying to fill every seat. We are protecting the room and making sure every man coming into it understands what Blunt Talk was built for.
Not unless he has sent his own RSVP, completed the form, and been approved. Every man must go through the same process. Nobody receives automatic access because he came with somebody else.
Yes. We are looking for African American home growers to come through and showcase what they have been growing. This is not about selling anything. It is a chance to bring yourrk into the room, let the brothers see what you have been putting together, and get your name in front of the right people.
Across Providence and New England, some immigrant cultures openly use the word “nigger” around African American men, children, and families. Life Coach Wright does not view that as authentic, respectful, or acceptable in a space centered on Black men’s mental health and freedom to be themselves.
Blunt Talk remains exclusively for FBA African American men to protect the culture, the environment, and every brother in the room.
*Foundational Black Americans

Each meeting focuses on an honest conversation affecting FBA African American men, including brotherhood, family, relationships, leadership, healing, and ownership.
An RSVP form is required for each meeting. Life Coach Wright will confirm approved attendees up to one week before the meeting.
