What Up Doe, New England!


Welcome to Wright's Lounge Barbecue. We are a barbecue Private Membership Association (PMA) hosted in Providence, RI serving our New England members American barbecue & soul food powered by African American culture & family traditions. Membership opens twice a year: during Black History Month and on Juneteenth.


What you need to know:

  • We are not an illegal Facebook Marketplace operation
  • We don't sell plates 
  • We are not a traditional walk-in restaurant
  • We don't serve the general public
  • We are not at one physical spot 
  • We do not serve anyone outside of our Wright's Lounge Barbecue Association....you HAVE to be a member to experience our motion!

Membership is currently closed and will reopen during Black History Month 2027.

Luggage for Dignity

Many foster youth move from home to home carrying their belongings in trash bags. Through Luggage for Dignity, we’re working to provide real luggage that offers a small sense of stability, dignity, and care during difficult transitions across. ALL PROCEEDS will go towards luggage for youth in need across New England.
